When she suddenly finds herself haunted by a presence, she has trouble distinguishing fiction from reality and falls deeper into a world of her perceptions.

Set in the 1950s, The Good Dream tells the story of Ivorie Walker, an unmarried, 30 something year old, who lives in a small town in Tennessee. Recovering from her parents deaths, most especially her mothers passing, Ivorie is living alone until she rescues a young and abused boy from 'the hills'.
